Complimentary Meet n’ Greet
Once you’ve decided Top Notch Pet Care is a good fit for you and your pet(s) give us a call 541.908.4222, send us a text, or shoot us an e-mail to schedule a complimentary meet n’ greet. It’s important for you and your pet(s) to feel comfortable and for us to see where all their essentials are, for that reason a meet n’ greet is mandatory.
It takes 30 minutes and we recommend scheduling it close to the time services would start. It helps your pet’s memory of us, keeps the information fresh in our minds too, and prevents the fee associated with having a second meet n’ greet.
Cancellation Policy
We understand you can’t control the weather, life events, and plans can change. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice via e-mail, phone call, or text if you need to change or cancel your service. Because we turn away other business for overnight stays and holiday care, we request you provide 7 days’ notice of any changes or cancellations, both are subject to a 50% cancellation fee for the invoice total if cancelled less than 7 days before service begins.
Key Policy
A copy of the key is requested at the initial meet n’ greet, if you don’t have any services scheduled a key can wait. We do offer complimentary key pickup and drop-off for the first two scheduled services, after that we charge $5 for each pickup and drop-off. We can also (and prefer) to keep your unmarked key in our lock box, that way if you need to go out of town suddenly, you can easily schedule with us.
Minimum Visits
Cats: For the safety of your cat(s) and home we require at least 1 visit every 24 hours; we do not skip days.
Dogs: For the comfort of your dog, we require at least 1 visit every 12 hours, but recommend 3 visits a day; AM, afternoon and PM.
There is no minimum number of visits required to become a client, if you only need our services once a year for one visit, we are happy to help!
Holiday Rates
It’s gratifying to know because we gave up our holiday, many pet owners could enjoy theirs worry free, but as a show of appreciation to the sitter we do charge $10 in addition to the standard rate on all Pet Care Visits, Cat Visits, Home Care and Lockout Services. Overnight stays are subject to a $20 increase for the day of and certain holiday weekends.

- New Year’s Day
- Easter Day
- Memorial Day (Includes weekend before: Saturday & Sunday)
- 4th of July
- Labor Day (includes weekend before: Saturday & Sunday)
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
Inclement Weather
Weather conditions are monitored closely and extra steps are always taken to ensure your furry family member has
enough food and water during inclement weather. On the rare occasion we experience inclement weather that causes impassable roads, we will notify you immediately and keep you updated as we make further attempts to reach them. Their safety and well-being is of the utmost importance. If you have a friend or family member that lives nearby, we recommended you give them a key to help ensure your pets safety during these times.
